| Abstract | This is a joint Bedford BCS and IET meeting. We are delighted to welcome Chris Snell, Industry Manager at Google, to talk at a Joint Event of the Bedfordshire branch of the British Computer Society (BCS) and the newly formed University of Bedfordshire BCS Student Chapter on Tuesday, 2 December. This talk will be held at the Stafford Cripps Building, Cranfield University, Cranfield, and you are warmly invited to attend. The talk will be at 6:00 p.m. for a 6:30 p.m. start. Technology has never been moving at a faster rate, changing the landscape from commerce, to travel, to healthcare. As 2014 comes to an end, come and listen to Chris Snell talk about the biggest trends Google is seeing in the world of technology, as well as explain some of the innovative thinking that helps Google stay at the forefront of this fast changing industry. | Profile | Chris Snell is an Industry manager at Google, and works with some of the biggest advertisers in the UK, advising them on the best way to make the most of Google and the web as a whole. Chris has worked in digital for the past 10 years and was running a digital advertising department at the age of 24. As part of his 20% times at Google, he mentors at Google campus in London, advising start ups on how to better build, launch and promote their start up businesses - winning a 2014 “Superstar Mentor” award.
